Our U posts are perfect for use in your dog fence enclosure, thanks to a stability plate at the bottom of the fence and solid metal clips up the height of the post that will provide extra support for your fencing material. The plate, about a foot from the bottom of the post, is driven into the ground and prevents your post from twisting and tipping, especially against repeated jumping and pressure from dogs. The clips take the place of our self-locking ties when attaching your fence to the post—hang your fence directly over the hooks, and drive them in with a hammer. The metal clips will hold the fence tightly, and even if your dog jumps, climbs, and tugs down on the material, your fence won’t slip down the post. The post is made of galvanized steel and black powder-coated.
We recommend this 7-foot post for a 5-foot high dog fence. Drive this post 2 feet into the ground using our angle steel post driver. We recommend placing one every 15 feet on your fence line.
