The 12 gauge monofilament wire is used to strengthen our standard perimeter deer fence as well as keep the fence from sagging between posts. If you have, or are ordering our maximum strength millennium deer fencing, we recommend using our 8 gauge monofilament wire. We recommend installing a run of monofilament wire at the top and bottom of your deer fencing for best results. The monofilament wire should be crimped using our connection sleeves at each corner or end system. Use our round monofilament tighteners and monofilament tightening tool to achieve your desired tension. The monofilament wire is ultra violet (UV) stabilized to prevent breakdown caused by the sun and weather. The breaking load is approximately 500 pounds. This is for a roll of 1000 feet of 12 gauge monofilament wire. We also offer 333 and 666 foot rolls for your convenience.
