Deer Fence: Sleeve Crimping Tool

These connection sleeves are used to terminate a run of 8 gauge monofilament line at the corner or end of our deer fencing systems. The connections sleeves come in packs of 25.

Operation: Thread the end of the monofilament line through one side of the connection sleeve.

Wrap the monofilament line around the corner or end post.

Thread the end of the monofilament line through the remaining hole of the connection sleeve.

Use our sleeve crimping tool to crimp down on the connection sleeve to secure the monofilament line in place.

The 8 gauge monofilament wire is used to strengthen our extra strength and millennium deer fence as well as keep the fence from sagging between posts. If you have or are ordering our standard perimeter deer fencing, we recommend using our 12 gauge monofilament wire. We recommend installing a run of monofilament wire at the top and bottom of your deer fencing for best results. The monofilament wire should be crimped using our connection sleeves at each corner or end system. Use our round monofilament tighteners and monofilament tightening tool to achieve your desired tension. The monofilament wire is ultra violet (UV) stabilized to prevent breakdown caused by the sun and weather. The breaking load is approximately 1200 pounds. This is for a roll of 666 feet of 8 gauge monofilament wire. We also offer 333, 1000, and 1666 foot rolls for your convenience.

The Stanley Fastening Hog Ringer, commonly referred to as the “Ringer” works with 9/16 inch blunt tipped hog rings. The blunt tipped hog rings are fed into the “Ringer” in 50 ring clips. The “Ringer” is used to secure our deer fencing to the monofilament line used for stability and strength. The “Ringer” is professional heavy-duty use product with an easy close grip. We also offer the hog rings to be used with this easy use tool.
