Deer Fence: Drive Cap For Deluxe Posts
The drive cap is used to drive the deer fence ground sleeve of the Deluxe Heavy Duty Deer Fence Post into the ground without bending the ground sleeve. Drive caps work with posts for 4 foot, 6 foot, and 7.5/8 foot deer fence ground sleeves. You will need to use multiple drive caps per job as the drive caps will begin to mushroom from constant use. We recommend 1 drive cap per 14 deluxe posts.

You should run a strand of monofilament at the top of your deer fence and one as close to the bottom as possible. Monofilament should be crimped with sleeves or wire clamps at end and corners and tightened with a round monofilament tightener on each side of the fence. two ends of monofilament can be connected using a gripple.
