Strong Polypropylene

Our heavy duty strength deer fence is lightweight, but is made of an incredibly resilient polypropylene plastic that will not corrode like metal fences.  This poly material is UV stabilized, which keeps the plastic strong after years in the sun, rain, heat, and cold.  Because it is so resistant to the elements, it does not require much maintenance.  When it comes to pressure from deer and smaller garden pests, heavy duty strength fencing has an ASTM lab-tested and certified 650 pound breaking load, and a reinforced bottom edge that will provide extra protection from digging and attempts to crawl under the fence.   When used with our sturdy line posts and tensioning support system, this fence will prove a formidable barrier against deer and other unwanted guests.  The heavy duty fence has a life expectancy of approximately 10-15 years.  Heavy duty strength fencing is our most popular fencing product, and we generally recommend it for use in most residential applications.

Virtually Invisible

You’ve worked hard on your landscape—don’t let your deer protection limit your ability to enjoy it.  Our poly deer fence will appear virtually invisible from as close as 20 feet due to its approx. 2-inch square mesh and carbon color, so you can still sit back and admire your plants without a fence blocking your view.

Easy Install

Deerbusters.com poly deer fencing was designed with the homeowner in mind, and setting up our deer fence will not require the assistance of a professional installer.  Two people can successfully install a deer fence enclosure for the residence in a single day.  Thanks to our ground sleeve system, you won’t have to spend hours digging laborious post holes, and our self-locking ties allow for quick and easy attachment of fencing to line posts.  Installing a tensioning system is a breeze with our simple connectors and tensioning tools.  Need help?  Our knowledgeable staff is ready to answer your questions by phone or live chat, or you may view our installation video for more information.

  1. Good quality for the price!

Posted by Unknown on 27th Nov 2013

I have used several grades of the poly deer fence and this time I wanted to try and save some money by not going with the best quality so I chose the better quality instead. Although it is strong it's not as good as the best quality poly fence.
A big buck hit the fence and that's all for that section, ripped a big hole in the fence. Although easily repaired, I've had big bucks hit the best quality poly fence and bounce off.
So if you live in an area with smaller deer this grade will do fine. But if you have some bigger bucks around get the best quality you can, it's worth the extra price.

  2. Heavy Duty Deer Fence

Posted by Ginger Lengacher on 11th Oct 2013

    To Whom It May Concern,
I was interested in buying a deer fence for my vegetable field garden, knowing it was a necessity if I was to be productive. After visiting numerous growers supply internet sites, most requiring acceptance from their company after time consuming forms, I noticed deerbusters.com, opened your site, was very impressed with the user friendly instructions, clear details of the product I was interested in, easy access for ordering the product and very pleased with the free shipping, which was great! Of course I can not rate the product, as I live in the high mountains of Colorado, so will be installing and using this fencing in the spring of 2014. However, I rate the marketing, setup of your site, shipping and handling excellence with a very high (pleased beyond any internet experience I have had for years) extremely satisfied experience. It is with great pleasure to recommend you to any interested friends with high acclaim . Thank you for the opportunity given me to firmly believe in the internet form of buying, once again.
    Sincerely,
    Ginger Lengacher

  3. Doe hits fence bounces off

Posted by Johnny Rinehold on 18th Jun 2013

I'd left my garden gate open and a deer wandered in. I ran outside to chase it out but she ran for the fence and not the gate. She hit it once, twice and a third time and bounced back each time. Stunned she exited through the gate and I closed it behind her.

  4. Easy to install

Good value, easy to install on wood post with pan head screws.

  5. Just Received!!!!

Posted by Sam on 18th May 2013

I have just received my fencing and do not have any performance data to share. However; I am impressed by the quality and look forward to keeping the stinking rotten deer out of my vegetable and fruit field.

  6. deer fence works

Posted by Barry on 1st Mar 2013

I did not buy the best fence offered here, but I am satisfied that It will work. Before I had put up all the fence ,I had four deer in my front yard. Sent out my dog ,three ran for the missing section of fence one bounced off the fence three times before deciding to go around.I tacked the fence to trees where I could, saving some expense and hiding the fence from my view as it blended in with the trees

  7. Most resilient fence!

Posted by Malia Hard on 23rd Dec 2012

I purchased this fencing to replace an existing 2 wire horse fence. Since the t-posts were already in rock hard soil I chose to utilize those t-posts by sliding pvc pipe over them. The fence is currently zip-tied to those pvc pipes and the monofilament is run through holes drilled in the tops of the pipes. The pipes are topped with caps. Worked beautifully with minimal work and expense.

A nearby oak tree fell and took an eucalyptus tree with it, both landing on the fence. The PVC pipes were pulled over and there are a couple of tears in the fencing but the monofilament did not break (it's a single 200' length) and the fence is still fully functional and keeping the deer out. I'll be using a short length of the leftover monofilament to mend the fence. No other fence material would still be protecting my yard!

  8. Happy customer

Posted by Ken Judge on 4th Nov 2012

Prompt shipping, liked free delivery. Heavy Duty fence is indeed heavy enough to do the job. Heavier than the product I had been using. Currently using it around individual seedlings that are very spread out so enclosing the entire area would be too expensive for me.

  9. 7.5' deer fence

Posted by Mary Elliott on 17th Apr 2012

A couple of years ago we bought a roll of this fence to keep the numerous deer out of our garden. This fence is strong (it takes six complete rotations of a rototiller tine before it finally snaps), plenty tall, and very easy to work with. It shows no signs of breaking down. When it came time to protect our new orchard, we didn't hesitate to purchase again.

  10. works great!

Posted by craig on 2nd Apr 2012

I use it for 2 jobs. I have 12 foot 4x4 posts burried 3 feet down. I start with chicken wire burried a foot underground to keep the woodchucks out and then hang the deer fence on nails on the posts and connect to the chicken wire with heavy duty twist ties. It stretches enough so I can keep my fence looking taunt. At the end of the season, I take it down and store it for next year. I also use it for peas and pole beans. Again, I hang it on nails on 8 foot 2x2 posts at 8 foot intervals. I drive the end posts at an angle so that the fence pulls the posts into the ground and keeps the fence taunt. I leave these fences up through the winter so that the vines are dried and crunchy by spring for easy removal.
