- all natural deer repellents
The Fall and Winter seasons are hard times for a deer. Humans are hungry; and they have a hankering for deer meat This is the time to get it.
Bucks begin following does this time of year as the does reach reproductive ages and give birth. Once the doe gives birth to a fawn, the buck stays close to his lady and baby. The doe will protect her baby by avoiding hunters, and all other humans, and seek shelter as best she can. This is a problem for the buck and the doe, since the leaves have fallen from the trees and there isn't much cover.
This is why bucks and does travel out of the woods and onto home properties in the early morning hours when it's still dark outside. If you can't see them, then they have a good chance at survival, right? Possibly. But, they are eating flowerbeds and causing other agricultural damage in the process.
Know what to expect from deer and how to get rid of deer from yards. Consider the following deer management strategies:
- Install deer fence, the most effective means for keeping deer away from gardens;
- Applying deer repellent and/or predator urine. Deer rely on their sense of smell and taste. They will become fearful of coyotes and wolves with animal pee and will think twice about your garden after tasting the all natural deer repellent.
- Grow thorny bushes or flowers around gardens as a barrier. After being pricked by a few roses, deer may decide your garden is just not worth it.
