Can Deer Chew Through Plastic Fence?

When considering to buy deer fence, it is best to think about a few things such as the type of animals destroying the gardening site and if fencing will be a permanent or temporary solution. 

Sometimes, the word plastic gets a bad rep. People translate plastic to be flimsy or cheap; but poly deer fence is not only durable but long lasting. Plastic deer fence has a certified breaking strength up to 1400 pounds and a life expectancy up to 20 years. 

Customers know that plastic deer fence is good for light to moderate deer pressure, but when dealing with chewing deer, and other small critters (rabbits) that chew, poly deer fence is not a good solution for growers. For dealing with chewing animals, it is best to go with a heavy duty option such as a metal deer fence. Metal fencing includes PVC that acts as a secondary layer of protection against chew marks.
