  • To investigate or prevent fraud, security incidents, or illegal activity
  • To professional advisors, including lawyers, accountants, and auditors
  • In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, in which case personal information may transfer to the acquiring party

Where your information is stored and processed

Personal information is stored on servers in the United States, and some of our service providers process or store information in other countries. This means your personal information may be accessible to courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities in the United States and in those other countries under their laws.

If you are in Canada: by using our websites and purchasing from us, your personal information is transferred to and processed in the United States. We remain accountable for it, and we use contractual and other measures to require comparable protection from our service providers. See Section 9 for further detail.

7. Cookies and tracking technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixels, tags, local storage, and similar technologies on our websites. These fall into four categories:

  • Strictly necessary — required for the site to work: session management, shopping cart, security tokens, bot protection, and recording your privacy choices. These are always active and cannot be turned off.
  • Preferences — remember choices like your selected currency and recently viewed categories.
  • Statistics — help us understand how visitors use the site, including page analytics and behavioral measurement.
  • Marketing — used by our advertising partners to build audiences, deliver relevant ads, and measure campaign performance.

How this works depends on where you are:

If you are in Canada, non-essential cookies and tracking technologies do not run until you consent. On your first visit you will see a banner asking whether you agree to preferences, statistics, and marketing technologies, with all non-essential categories off by default. You can accept or decline each category, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the link in our website footer. Declining will not affect your ability to shop with us.

If you are in the United States, non-essential cookies and tracking technologies operate by default. On your first visit you will see a notice describing them, with the option to decline non-essential cookies. You can opt out at any time using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in our footer.

Your browser may also offer controls to block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of our sites from working, including the shopping cart and checkout.

Complete, current lists of the specific cookies on each site, including their providers, purposes, and durations, are published in our cookie policies:

8. Additional provisions for United States residents

Your rights

  • Right to know and access — what personal information we collect, the sources, the purposes, the categories of third parties we disclose it to, and the specific pieces of information we hold about you
  • Right to delete — see Section 10
  • Right to correct inaccurate personal information
  • Right to data portability — a copy of your information in a portable, machine-readable format
  • Right to opt out of sale and sharing, including targeted advertising — see below
  • Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we use sensitive personal information only for authentication and security, purposes for which this right does not apply
  • Right to opt out of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects — we do not engage in this
  • Right to non-discrimination — see Section 12
  • Right to appeal — see Section 13

Selling and sharing personal information

California law defines "selling" broadly to include disclosing personal information to a third party for anything of value, not only for money, and defines "sharing" to include disclosures for cross-context behavioral advertising. Our use of advertising and analytics technologies falls within these definitions.

We sell and share the following categories of personal information:

Category Third parties receiving it Purpose
Identifiers (hashed email address and phone number, where enhanced matching is enabled) Google, Meta, Pinterest Advertising and measurement
Internet and device activity Google, Meta, Pinterest Advertising and measurement
Commercial information (products viewed and purchased, order value) Google, Meta, Pinterest Advertising and measurement
Inferences (audience segments) Google, Meta, Pinterest Advertising and measurement

We do not sell or share sensitive personal information, and we do not sell or share the personal information of anyone we know to be under 16.

How to opt out

Advertising and analytics technologies operate on our websites by default for United States visitors. We do not ask you to opt in before they run, and we do not require you to consent to them in order to shop with us. You may opt out of the sale and sharing of your personal information at any time by:

  • Using the "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" link in the footer of any page
  • Declining non-essential cookies in the notice shown on your first visit
  • Enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC) in your browser or browser extension — our websites detect this signal and treat it as an opt-out request for that browser
  • Emailing [email protected] or calling 1-888-876-0960

We do not require you to verify your identity to opt out. If an authorized agent submits an opt-out on your behalf, we may ask for proof that you authorized them.

What happens when you opt out

We will act on your request within 15 business days, and in practice immediately for opt-outs submitted through the footer link, the cookie notice, or a GPC signal.

Once you opt out, we stop disclosing your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. Where we continue to use an advertising or analytics provider to measure our own website's performance, we instruct that provider to process your information only as a service provider on our behalf — restricting it from building advertising audiences, personalizing ads, or using your information for its own purposes. Google and Meta offer specific restricted-processing settings for this purpose, and we enable them for opted-out visitors.

Because opt-out preferences are stored on your device, you will need to opt out again if you use a different browser or device, or if you clear your cookies.

We will not ask you to opt back in for at least 12 months after you opt out.

9. Additional provisions for residents of Canada

If you are in Canada, our handling of your personal information is governed by the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, if you are in Quebec, by the Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector ("Quebec privacy law"). Our commercial electronic messages are governed by Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).

Our accountability

We have designated a Privacy Officer, identified in Section 1, who is responsible for our compliance with Canadian privacy law. Any question, request, or complaint about your personal information should be directed to that contact.

Consent

We rely on your consent to collect, use, and disclose your personal information, except where the law permits or requires us to act without it.

  • Express consent — we obtain your express, opt-in consent before using cookies, pixels, or similar technologies that identify, locate, or profile you. Non-essential tracking technologies do not run until you agree. We also obtain express consent before sending you marketing communications.
  • Implied consent — where you provide information to complete a purchase, ask us a question, or request support, we treat that as consent to use the information for that purpose and for directly related purposes such as shipping, customs clearance, payment, and customer service.
  • Withdrawing consent — you may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and on reasonable notice. Use the footer link on our websites to change your tracking choices, the unsubscribe link in any marketing message, or contact our Privacy Officer. We will tell you the consequences of withdrawal before we act on it. Withdrawing consent to marketing or tracking will not affect your ability to shop with us.

We do not require you to consent to collection, use, or disclosure of personal information beyond what is necessary to provide our products and services as a condition of purchase.

Transfers outside Canada

Your personal information is transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, and some of our service providers process information in other countries as described in Section 6. While your information is outside Canada, it is subject to the laws of those countries, and courts, law enforcement, and national security authorities there may be able to obtain access to it.

We remain accountable for personal information we transfer to service providers. We use contractual and other measures intended to provide a comparable level of protection while the information is being processed on our behalf. Where Quebec privacy law requires it, we conduct a privacy impact assessment before transferring personal information outside Quebec.

You may contact our Privacy Officer for more information about our policies and practices regarding service providers outside Canada.

Your rights

  • Access — you may ask what personal information we hold about you, how it is being used, and to whom it has been disclosed. We will respond within 30 days of receiving your request and will tell you if we need an extension and why.
  • Correction — you may ask us to correct information that is inaccurate, incomplete, or ambiguous, and to have the correction sent to anyone we disclosed it to.
  • Withdrawal of consent — as described above.
  • Deletion — you may ask us to delete personal information we hold about you. See Section 10. Where information is no longer necessary for the purpose for which it was collected, and no legal requirement obliges us to keep it, we will delete or anonymize it.
  • Data portability — you may ask us to provide the personal information you gave us in a structured, commonly used technological format, or to transmit it to another organization where required by law.
  • De-indexing (Quebec) — you may ask us to stop disseminating your personal information, or to de-index any link giving access to it, where dissemination contravenes the law or a court order, or where the conditions set out in Quebec privacy law are met.
  • Automated decision-making (Quebec) — we do not use your personal information to make decisions about you based exclusively on automated processing. If that changes, we will tell you at the time of the decision and give you the opportunity to submit observations to a member of our staff.
  • Complaint — if you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada at priv.gc.ca, or if you are in Quebec, to the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec at cai.gouv.qc.ca. You may also have a right of action under Quebec privacy law.

Marketing to Canadian recipients

We send commercial electronic messages to Canadian recipients only where we have your express consent, or where consent is implied under CASL — for example because you purchased from us within the previous 24 months or made an inquiry within the previous 6 months. Every message identifies us, gives our contact information, and includes a working unsubscribe mechanism. We act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.

Breach notification

If a breach of security safeguards involving your personal information creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will report it to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada and notify you as soon as feasible, and we will notify the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec where Quebec privacy law requires. We maintain records of all breaches of security safeguards for 24 months, as required by law.

10. Requesting deletion of your personal information

How to submit a request

  • Online:
  • Email: [email protected], subject line "Data Deletion Request"
  • Phone: 1-888-876-0960
  • Mail: Trident Enterprises International Inc, Attn: Privacy, 225 E. Ninth St., Waynesboro, PA 17268

You do not need an account to submit a request, and there is no fee.

To help us find your information, please give us your full name, the email address and phone number you have used with us, any order numbers, which of our websites you used, and whether you want all of your information deleted or only part of it.

Verifying your identity

Before deleting anything, we must confirm you are who you say you are. This protects you from someone else deleting your account or order history.

  • For most requests, we will ask you to confirm two or more pieces of information already in our records — for example, the email address on your orders plus an order number or the postal code on a past shipment.
  • For requests involving sensitive information, we may ask for additional confirmation, and in limited cases a signed declaration.
  • If you have an account, we may ask you to log in and submit the request from within it.

We use information provided for verification only to verify your identity and respond to your request. If we cannot verify you, we will tell you why, and for United States residents we will treat the request as an opt-out of sale and sharing.

Authorized agents and representatives

You may use an authorized agent or representative. We will ask for written permission signed by you or a valid power of attorney, verification of their identity, and direct confirmation from you that you authorized the request.

How long we take

United States residents: we will acknowledge your request within 10 business days and respond substantively within 45 calendar days of receiving it. If we need more time, we will tell you within that 45-day window and may extend by up to 45 additional days.

Canadian residents: we will respond within 30 days of receiving your request. If we need an extension permitted by law, we will tell you within the first 30 days, explain why, and tell you of your right to complain to the Privacy Commissioner.

What we delete

If we grant your request, we will delete your personal information from our systems and direct our service providers and contractors to delete it from theirs. This covers our e-commerce platform and order records, CRM and marketing systems, email and SMS lists, order management and fulfillment systems, customer service records, reviews platform, and analytics and advertising systems to the extent the information is linked to you.

When we cannot delete

The law permits us to retain certain information despite a deletion request. We may decline where retention is necessary to:

  • Complete a transaction you asked for, provide a product or service you requested, or honor the terms of a written warranty or a product recall
  • Comply with a legal obligation, including tax, customs, and accounting records, which we must retain for 7 years
  • Detect, prevent, and investigate fraud, or protect the security and integrity of our systems
  • Establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, or comply with a legal hold, subpoena, or court order
  • Exercise a right provided by law, including the right of free speech
  • Maintain the record of your request itself, as described below
  • Conduct internal uses that are lawful and reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us

If we decline in whole or in part, we will tell you which categories we retained and the specific basis for each. Where an exception covers only part of your information, we will delete the rest.

Product reviews

Reviews you have published are your own expression, and we may retain the review text while removing your name and identifying details, unless you ask us to remove the review entirely.

The records we keep to honor your request

If your request includes stopping marketing contact, withdrawing consent, or opting out of sale and sharing, we retain the minimum record needed to make sure we honor it, typically a hashed version of your email address or phone number on a suppression list. This is necessary to give effect to your request, and we do not use it for any other purpose.

Deidentified information

We may retain information that has been deidentified or anonymized so it can no longer reasonably be linked to you, and we will not attempt to re-identify it.

What deletion means for you

After deletion we will no longer be able to look up your order history, apply account credits, honor a warranty claim that depends on proof of purchase, or process a return on a prior order. We will tell you before completing the deletion if we think this affects you.

11. Data security

Our security measures include:

  • Encryption of data in transit and at rest
  • Access control — access limited to personnel with a business need, with role-based permissions, individual accounts, multi-factor authentication on administrative systems, and periodic permission reviews

We apply safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the information. No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use a strong, unique password for your account and tell us promptly if you believe it has been compromised.

12. No discrimination

We will not deny you goods or services, charge you a different price, provide a different quality of service, or retaliate against you because you exercised your privacy rights. Opting out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, declining non-essential cookies, or withdrawing consent to marketing will not affect your ability to shop with us, your pricing, or the service you receive.

13. If you disagree with our decision

United States residents: you may appeal by emailing [email protected] with "Privacy Appeal" in the subject line, or by calling 1-888-876-0960, within 60 days of receiving our response. Include your original request, the date of our response, and why you believe our decision was wrong. We will respond within the period required by your state's law. If we deny your appeal, we will give you a method to submit a complaint to your state Attorney General.

Canadian residents: contact our Privacy Officer, who will review the matter. If you remain dissatisfied, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you are in Quebec, as described in Section 9.

14. Marketing communications

We may send you marketing messages about our products, promotions, and offers.

Email. Every marketing email contains an unsubscribe link, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly. For Canadian recipients, the CASL consent requirements in Section 9 apply.

SMS and text messages. Where we send marketing text messages, we obtain your prior express written consent through a separate, affirmative opt-in. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of any purchase. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out and HELP for assistance. Canadian recipients are subject to the CASL requirements in Section 9.

Transactional messages about your orders, shipping, customs, and account are not marketing, and we send them regardless of your marketing preferences.

To manage your preferences, use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or contact [email protected].

15. Data breach notification

We maintain procedures to identify, assess, and respond to security incidents affecting personal information.

If a breach affects your personal information, we will notify you without unreasonable delay and within the timeframes required by applicable law, by email and, where required or where email is not feasible, by website notice or other substitute notice permitted by law. Our notice will describe what happened, the types of information involved, and steps you can take to protect yourself.

We will notify regulators and other authorities where and when the law requires. For Canadian residents, see Section 9.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. When we do, we will change the "Last Updated" date above, and where changes are material we will provide additional notices by email, by website banner, or both. Where the law requires your consent to a change, we will ask for it.
