How Returns Work…

Returns for unopened or unused items will gladly be accepted by DeerBusters within 30 days of receiving your purchase. You may use your order number as a return authorization number (RMA) for the shipment. Give your local carrier (UPS, FedEx, etc.) a call to schedule a time to come pick up your return or stop by their office. The customer is responsible for all charges associated with the return shipment, as well as any freight costs incurred for the outbound shipment.

Please return items that are in good, re-sellable condition. Kits must be returned in full and unopened. We will not accept unused items that are part of the kits.

Please add your name and invoice # on the returning order to help DeerBusters staff. Refunds will be credited once items are returned to DeerBusters.

There is also a 10% restocking fee applied to all returned items. Customers are responsible for customs and brokerage charges for all return packages sent from Canada back to our warehouse in Pennsylvania.

Please keep note of your return tracking # information for faster processing of your credit.

 

Warranty Information

DeerBusters stands behind the products sold through their website and will honor any warranties or guarantees within 30 days of purchase. Upon receiving the product, if there is a manufacturer error, please call us immediately and we would be happy to help!

 

Price Match Guarantee

We will beat the competition's retail price on identical product. To qualify for a price match, the item and price must be shown in writing through a projected cost quote, product web page or other acceptable means. Verbal price quotes may not be matched.

Shipping

Free shipping on orders over $99 (with some exclusions) There will be additional shipping costs on items requiring freight shipping. These items will note that freight shipping is required and there will be additional costs for shipment. If you would like to inquire about shipping costs on a freight item before placing your order, please proceed by adding the items to your cart and filling out your address. The freight will calculate for you automatically.

***Items such as Fixed Knot Rolls, Fixed Knot Posts, Fixed Knot Gates, T-Posts and Deer Guards ARE NOT ELIGIBLE for Free Shipping due to their size and weight. These items will be noted with a message that shipping charges apply on the product page.

**¹Any U.S. islands, Alaska, Hawaii, APO's, FPO's, Foreign Orders and some Custom Orders will have additional shipping and/or handling charges quoted and added to their order. Customs, duties, and other tariffs are the responsibility of the customer. Some products cannot be shipped outside the US. 

*** In some circumstances it may be necessary to add shipping charges to orders which would usually qualify for free shipping. Shipments going to islands or remote areas not covered by standard delivery services will have an additional cost.

 

Expedited Shipping

When carriers can participate in expedited shipping, this results in a faster delivery time with the carrier. Orders will not process any faster in the warehouse unless priority processing is purchased in addition to the expedited shipping charge.

Tracking

Customers are sent tracking information to their emails as soon as the product ships. If there is a concern with your order, please feel free to give us a call.

 

What to expect with your Freight (LTL) order:

Freight Delivery Information – Please Read Carefully

Please note: Customers must be home for freight deliveries. Our carriers use 18-wheelers for most shipments and will call during normal business hours (Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm) to schedule your delivery. During the ordering process, please provide a valid and accessible phone number so the carrier can easily reach you.

Most orders will arrive on one or more pallets. Underneath the shrink wrap, you will find smaller boxes that can be unloaded by hand. Each pallet is custom-sized, so liftgates may not always be available. Plan on having extra help to unload, or meeting at a large, accessible parking area if your driveway or loading area is unpaved or tight. If this is the case, the carrier may only be able to make a curbside delivery.

Drivers are not required to assist with unloading, though many are willing to help. Please be prepared to unload quickly, as drivers have limited time at each stop.

Special Note for Fixed Knot Orders:

  • Liftgates are always provided unless posts longer than 100" are included.
  • These are heavy rolls of fencing. Most customers use machinery or at least 3 helpers to unload.

We encourage you to ensure your delivery location is accessible for an 18-wheeler or provide an alternative location where the truck can safely make the delivery. If needed, you can dismantle pallets to transport your items from a meeting point.

Damages and Missing Content

*IMPORTANT*

When your order is delivered, please inspect the packaging. If boxes are damaged, we ask that you take pictures of the damage and DO NOT refuse delivery. (We will need pictures to let the shippers to know that items were damaged during the delivery) Be sure to note which boxes are damaged on the delivery receipt.

Before you give us a call, review your packing slip to make sure items are accounted for and note which items specifically were damaged in transit.

 

For smaller purchases…

DeerBusters uses USPS for small orders and Fed-Ex or UPS for medium and large orders. We will send you tracking information as soon as your product leaves our warehouse.

 

Processing and Priority Processing

Normal Processing

Processing time will vary based on volume. We will ship out products in the order in which they were received. During normal season (July-February), orders typically take 1-5 business days to process. During peak season (March-June), smaller orders typically take 2-5 business days to process, while larger orders can take 6-10 business days process.

Priority Processing

Outside of our peak season, we offer priority processing. This means your order is bumped up to the front of the line and will be shipped out as soon as possible. Be mindful of when you are placing the order. If the order is placed before 1pm EST, it will ship the same day. Any time after 1pm EST, it will begin to process the following day. We need time to prepare your order before the carriers come for pickup.
