- beginning farmers
Sometimes, it's difficult to remember what it's like first starting out in a career, especially if you have been in the game for quite a while. But, just like anyone, early farmers and gardeners aren't 100% sure what materials they need to start a farm or how to protect it. This is where we come in to help.
Most early farmers take agricultural classes at the university level and work on student farms to learn the ins-and-outs of the business. During this time, it's important to educate beginning farmers about the importance of crop protection - not just about crop production.
To protect student incubator farms, educators need to build deer fence around properties. Without deer fencing, students will not only see their hard work disappear; but they will get the point that deer are the enemy and keeping them away is good. (They shouldn't have to learn this the hard way.)
Protect student farms while teaching lessons to new farmers. Isn't that the point of becoming a professor, anyway?
