- responsible pet owner
Although there is much to discuss on National Puppy Day, we want to start the day off right. (See the pups?)
National Puppy Day 2018 is a special day to celebrate the love, companionship and joy of puppies. Puppies grow with us and share special moments with us, from our first road trip to our first baby.
There are many ways to get involved this National Puppy Day including:
- Adopt a puppy from a no-kill animal shelter;
- Volunteer at a dog rescue;
- Run a 5K to support humane animal care;
- Advocate for the humane treatment of animals
We want what's best for our dogs as they age; and that is why Deerbusters recommends installing yard fencing for dogs to play, exercise and socialize with other pets. Bringing home a new dog can be challenging for both pet owner and pet; and training dogs in the fenced-in yard will help teach the dog right from wrong and where to go and not.
Not all dog fences are humane. Chain-Link fences corrode and wireless fences send an electric shock to dogs. But, Deerbusters only carries humane dog fencing in plastic and PVC-coated metal materials. To be a responsible pet owner who cares about the humane treatment of animals, then this may be a good option for you.
Spread the word about #nationalpuppyday for the love of puppies!
