Say Goodbye To Ticks In Spring. Here's How.

Posted by Jennifer Smith on

March is the start of tick season; and as gardeners are planning what flowers and vegetables to plant this spring, the concern over ticks and tick diseases has popped into our minds.

Often, we wonder how ticks get from the woods/grass to our bodies and our pets. But, the more we spend outdoors, the more it makes sense. Ticks feed on warm-blooded mammals; and they find us when we are walking our dogs; hiking trails; and gardening in the yard. So, how do we get rid of them?

The answer is simple: Stop deer and say goodbye to deer ticks. Ticks feed on deer; and when the deer walk onto our properties, they leave behind ticks that carry Lyme Disease and other tick-borne illnesses.

The best method to create a tick resistant garden is to build deer fence, a 7.5' to 8' foot tall fence to be exact. This height deer fence will block attempts from jumping deer and will reduce the spread of ticks by 97 percent!

Deer fence is the answer to tick prevention in the garden and will protect flowerbeds and crops from deer damage.

Stop deer. Rid ticks.
